Zangief, Lily, and Cammy make their debuts in a brand new bone-breaking trailer for Street Fighter 6

Fan-favorites return.

The first PlayStation State of Play of 2023 released a tantalizing new trailer for Street Fighter 6, finally showing gameplay footage of the last three characters in the roster: everyone’s favorite Russian wrestler Zangief, the stoic British agent (and clone) Cammy, and the brand new character named Lily. The State of Play footage highlights all three fighters, showing all the characters shining outfits and their mad new skills.

Zangief, Cammy, and Lily were initially revealed in a September 2022 trailer, which featured the full 18-character roster. Zangief and Cammy are returning veterans and Street Fighter icons, whereas Lily is a brand new character introduced in Street Fighter 6. Zangief is a giant Russian wrestler known as the Red Cyclone for his twirling fists and signature tornado piledriver.

Lily is part of the Thunderfoot tribe, an ingenious people from Mexico. The Thunderfoot tribe was forced off their land by the evil Shadaloo organization. Other members of Thunderfoot include classic Street Fighter character T. Hawk, who will be missing out on Street Fighter 6 at launch. Lily uses club-like weapons to strike her enemies hard, and one of her moves even lets her use a camera, suggesting she has an interest in photography.

Cammy is a British operative for the special forces unit known as Delta Red. She is generally moody yet competitive, but she carries a dark past. She was initially created to be a female clone of M. Bison, to become a potential vessel for him if the Dictator perished prematurely. She was part of M. Bison’s elite Dolls, deadly bodyguards for the Shadaloo, before defecting to the UK and becoming an agent. Her fighting style focuses on quick strikes and acrobatics.

Street Fighter 6 is set to launch for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on June 2. The first season of DLC for the title has already been leaked, revealing four new characters.
