In the latest blog post by PUBG Corp, they announced that a major change, which is the game will no longer support Steam’s Family Sharing and the reason behind this is that the cheaters exploited Steam’s family sharing.
They said, “we have decided to deactivate this feature because we have identified a number of vulnerabilities that are being exploited. Please understand that we are introducing this measure to fight abuse and ensure a fair environment.”
In addition to that, they also announced changes in the In-game report Function, File modification as well. They are building an internal report system which will help them to scan through reports faster. And also, modification or tampering with the game files might get you banned permanently. Also, any software that “hooks into the game” will be blocked, like Reshade.
