From an announcement in the latest Nintendo Direct, Mediatonic’s breakout battle royale, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, is headed to the Switch this summer.

After previously hinting at extending its player base, the platforming online game will release its first new port since initially releasing exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PC. Although a summer launch window has been dispelled, an exact release date is still unknown. Its one minute trailer didn’t reveal gameplay of Fall Guys on the handheld, but a number of its bean-shaped characters were shown playing the game using just one joy-con.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is currently finishing up its content-filled Season 3, as its latest update delivered changes to a collection of existing levels and even provided a new stage. It remains unclear if Switch owners will have a chance to own some of the game’s now-removed limited time cosmetics, as the battle royale lastly brought in outfits via crossovers from Super Smash Bros. alums Sonic the Hedgehog and Doom Slayer.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’s initial release saw impressive success, becoming the most downloaded PlayStation Plus title ever and amassing over seven million users on Steam upon launch. The latest port comes just weeks after a strange misunderstanding dashed the hopes of the title coming to Xbox Game Pass anytime soon.
