CDPR Hints Cyberpunk 2077 Will Also Release On PS5 And Next-Xbox

In a Cyberpunk 2077 preview from Gamecentral, it was revealed that the game could be coming to next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as understood via an answer given by the development team during the hands-off session with the press.
The preview claims that “the demo was running on the sort of PC that would make SkyNet blush but the fact that it was running at all, on any hardware that currently exists, was frankly astonishing.”
With that said, “CD Projekt has alluded to the fact before and trying to clarify exactly what formats the game will be released on involved a series of nervous questions between CD Projekt staff, unsure of what exactly they should be saying.”
“Eventually we got them to admit it would be coming out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with a nervous little laugh making it clear that also appearing on next-gen consoles was very much the plan (which also gives a hint as to when the game will be released).
From everything we’ve seen of Cyberpunk 2077, it seems like the hype is not only real but if anything understated.”
It doesn’t look impossible to consider that the game could be coming to the next Xbox (Xbox One X 2) and PlayStation (PS5) consoles (too), if you think that the latest rumors about them slate their releases for 2020/2021 and Cyberpunk 2077 still looks in an early stage of development.
Of course, we hope to see and play it very earlier…
