With the upcoming Bayonetta 3 set to be released in the year 2018, though the date has not yet been released, which will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive, it seems almost unfair not to have the previous 2 Bayonetta games for the Switch.

Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Switch Features Revealed

However, that does not seem to be the case anymore as it has been officially announced on the Nintendo Website, that Bayonetta Special Edition will be launched for the Nintendo Switch. It will be released on 16th February 2018 and will consist of both Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2.

The game will support both the Classic control scheme and touch controls. The classic control is the use of the Joy-cons and the touch controls will sure add a twist to the way we play action games.

The game also offers multiplayer, both online matchmaking and Co-op gameplay. The multiplayer mode is known as Tag Climax mode, in which you along with another player (your friend) will take on and fight NPCs. The multiplayer is a 2-player game mode.

There is also support for amiibo, which is sold separately, which unlocks different Nintendo themed skins for Bayonetta along with different weapons and more.
