The latest patch for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 adds a new game mode, Jetpack Cargo, several tweaks to just about every hero available, balance adjustments, and more maps for the custom arcade mode.
EA has released the latest patch for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 today in the form of version 1.2. It brings with it a large number of balance tweaks, mostly to the various heroes available in game, expands the Custom Arcade mode, and introduces an entirely new multiplayer game mode called Jetpack Cargo.
This fast-paced mode sees players jumping around in jetpacks wielding rocket launches for the entire round. This mode will only be available for a limited time so check for availability and make sure to jump in and give it a try.
The maps Kashyyyk, Hoth, Endor, Crait, Jakku, and Death Star II are being added to the Custom Arcade mode and three new hero appearances are being added for a limited time: the Hoth appearances for Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo.
This patch brings a lot of balance tweaks and bug fixes to Heroes, Classes, Locations, and Game Modes. A significant tweak has also been made to Dodging. As a friendly gesture, all players will now receive two default emotes for their Troopers instead of having to unlock some before joining the fun.
