Apex Legends has just introduced the much requested Report System feature, that will allow you to report a player you think is playing using a hack.

“Players can now report cheaters they encounter in-game and it’ll be sent directly to Easy Anti-Cheat,” says the changelog.

“You can do this from either the spectate view after dying or when looking at your team’s Banner Cards in the Squad tab.”

Thus far, says Respawn Entertainment, 499,937 accounts and counting have been banned for cheating.

“We have lots of other work going on behind the scenes and this remains high priority for us. We won’t be able to share many specifics of what we’re doing but we’ll strive to provide updates on progress for the things we can talk about.”

Also, the studio says the game has already an anti-speed hacking system in place, but it is not active because of a bug which will be fixed in an incoming patch.

Hopefully, all this will make it easier for the developer to further reduce the number of hackers playing Apex Legends not the way it is meant to be played.
