At E3 2018, Bethesda’s Todd Howard officially announced that Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI is in development at Bethesda Game Studios.
Time and again, fans have asked Pete Hines, Bethesda and Todd Howard about the next game in the Elder Scrolls series and is their new IP is titled as Starfield? At E3 2018, Bethesda’s Todd Howard answered these two viral questions once and for all.
Firstly, Todd Howard revealed Starfield – it is Bethesda’s first brand new IP in 25 years. To describer Starfield, Howard used the term “next generation singleplayer RPG” and shared the following teaser trailer.
Secondly, Howard also announced that the Bethesda Game Studios is also working on a next installment in Elder Scrolls series, Elder Scrolls VI and shared the following announcement trailer.
The message from Bethesda was very clear – Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI are in the early stage of the development. We have just announced them because fans have been asking about them again and again. I can read the expression on Howard’s face at the time of the announcements of these two games, it was something on this line: “Yes, they’re real, please wait and stop asking”.
