Bethesda has responded to Walmart Canada listing of RAGE 2. The publisher did not directly confirmed or deny the existence of RAGE 2, but there was a clear hint that the announcement is incoming at E3 2018.

Yesterday, Walmart Canada updated its listing and spoiled what apparently look like a lot of possible E3 2018 announcements, such as a new Splinter Cell game from Ubisoft, Borderlands 3 from Gearbox Software, Gears of War 5 from The Coalition and Rage 2 from id Software.

Bethesda Kind of Confirms RAGE 2 Reveal At E3 2018

While such leaks often happen, and this one had several incorrect information about the aforementioned games, it’s fun to see that ahead of the E3 someone even commented it, possibly confirming the incoming announce.

This someone is Rage’s Twitter account, which issued a tweet with a fun image in the effort to “correct” the wrong information posted in the listing from Walmart Canada. So yes, there’s apparently a Rage 2 announcement coming at the next E3 in Los Angeles.

The tweet comes with a pic including the listing from Walmart and a couple suggestions at how to make it better, with a proper logo and font, an ESRB rating and a key art… all stuff that, at least for the moment being, don’t exist.

We’ll learn more at Bethesda’s E3 2018 media briefing this June? You betcha. In the meantime, we’ll wait for more similar initiatives from the other games involved, like Splinter Cell or Gears of War 5… would that be too much?
