Pokémon Rumble Rush makes linking your My Nintendo account easy. When you boot up the game, one of the first things it will do is ask if you want to link your My Nintendo account to the game. Press “Link,” and enter your account login information in the browser window that pops up.

Once you have linked the account, you will gain a handful of instant benefits. One bonus is that your customized Mii will appear in the stages as your Pokémon drops down from a hot air balloon to battle. The second instant benefit is that you can use your My Nintendo account to transfer your save to another device. If you get a new phone and would like to play Pokémon Rumble Rush on it, then you can use your My Nintendo account to transfer your progress from an old device to a new one.

The best benefits come in the form of earning and spending Pokémon Rumble Rush Platinum Points through My Nintendo. Like with several other mobile Nintendo titles, players can earn Platinum Points specific to Pokémon Rumble Rush. So far, there are four challenges players can complete to earn Pokémon Rumble Rush Platinum Points.

Linking your account is a one-time challenge that grants 300 Points. Then, you can earn 50, 100 or 150 Points per week by refining 5, 10, or 30 Ore respectively.

You can then redeem those points for in-game items. Currently, you can redeem 300 Points for 100 Poké Diamonds, and you can redeem 100 Points for either 1000 Coins or a Refining Ticket. For 50 Points, you can snag either a Fire Move Plus, Water Move Plus, or Grass Move Plus Power Gear.
