In The Bridge to Nowhere Walkthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2, Arthur and John execute Dutch’s plans to destroy the bridge, the only path for the army to enter the town.

In the last mission Archeology for Beginners, Arthur visits Rains Fall and helps him finding an ancient sacred relic taken robbed by army men. Rains Fall was indebted by Arthur’s help. To start the next mission, The Bridge to Nowhere, walk towards Bacchus Station where John is waiting for you with the wagon carrying explosive cargo. The plan is to destroy the bridge to slow down the army’s entrance in the city. Till the time the gang can focus on the arrangement of their safe exit.

To earn the Gold Medal reward for this mission, plant the dynamite within 1 minute and 35 seconds and flee the train before 19 seconds.

Go To Bacchus Station | The Bridge to Nowhere

To start the mission talk to John who is waiting at Bacchus Station. Follow the road between Cumberland Forest and Grizzlies East and you will end up at a railway track. Follow it to reach Bacchus Station, it is just before the bridge. Walk towards the carriage to talk to John. He is concerned about Dutch’s behavior, for a better life Arthur will suggest him to take his child and woman and get out of this. For now, both will continue with the plan.

The Dynamite Crate | The Bridge to Nowhere

Transport the Dynamite on a Cart, press A for pushing the handcar. John will tell you to stop, pick the crates and follow him, he will tell you to lower the crate from the side of the bridge. The keys to controlling the crate will be flashed on the bottom right of the screen. Pick the second crate and repeat the process.

Plant The Dynamite | The Bridge to Nowhere

Go down and plant the Dynamite on the pillars. You will have to plant two dynamite’s on two pillars on your right. Follow the yellow mark on the mini-map for exact location. John will ask to plant more, return to the crate pick some and walk towards the third pillar. This is the last one, run fast towards the ladder, the train is by now on its way.

Flee The Incoming Train | The Bridge to Nowhere

To fulfill the Gold requirements flee the train within 19 seconds. Get on the handcar and start pushing it. The train is not going to hit you, just push fast. Arthur and John will jump to safety. John will take you to the detonator and will give you the honors of blowing the bridge.

Detonate The Dynamite | The Bridge to Nowhere

Use a plunger to denote the bombs, in the cutscene you will see the explosion that breaks the bridge from the middle.

In the final cutscene, Arthur once again tells John to leave when the time comes, but John will be concerned about loyalty. Arthur has a different viewpoint about loyalty, he will share his perception about the ongoing changes and why John should be concerned about his future. Arthur will clarify John that Dutch has all the money and they are risking their neck for an idea that no longer works. John shares Abigail might know where Dutch has kept all the money. Arthur asks John to go and tell Abigail to make sure the location of stash and talk to him.

John walks away and Arthur sits on a crate resting for a while and coughing. This completes the mission. The next walkthrough is on Honor, Amongst Thieves. To start this mission locates Captain Monroe near Wapiti Indian Reserve.
