The next mission you can play is Archeology for Beginners, you will be visiting the bridge to meet John to play another mission, before that talk to Rains Fall, and you can find him in a tent on the north of Wapiti Indian Reservation. He will give you some basic task.

For Gold Medal, you will have to recover the relics without getting detected and finish recovering them in 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Talk To Rains Fall | Archeology for Beginners

Talk to Rains Fall to start this mission, he is in the on left of a house, follow RF sign on the map. He tells Arthur that two women are assaulted by Colonel Favour’s men as a measure of revenge for the raid. They will discuss death and glory. Rains Fall will invite you for a ride, Captain Monroe also join. On the way, he will tell about the news he brought for Rain Falls. He will ask for help from someone who is outside the tribe if you choose to help your honor will go up. He will thank and leave.

Keep Following Rains Fall | Archeology for Beginners

Continue following Rains Fall, he is going to find some herbs for Arthur. On your way, you will come across a pack of wolves eating a horse, don’t shoot them. Once Arthur starts talking about Dutch, Rains Fall will halt and talk about the plants he is looking for. Follow him, and he will pick up a plant English Mace, continue following him towards the horse. He will continue talking about Dutch and Eagle Flies follow Rains Fall on a horse. Continue walking over the mountain, and he will halt once again for some ginseng.

You can choose to stay on your horse, until he returns back to you. Rains Fall will put the herbs in your saddle bag and tell you to mix them together to keep your strength up. Arthur will tell Rains Fall about his health problem, and he will also talk about the chance Arthur can give others by doing for them.

Search The Area For Clues | Archeology for Beginners

Both of you will ride through the mountains when finally Rains Fall will jump from his horse and cry around a burned teepee. He will tell you to look for clues for a ceremonial pipe. Activate Eagle Sense and follow the tracks to locate clues. From the burned teepee, go right towards the rocks, look for yellow dots, they are your clues. You will find a bunch of logs, continue focus on the tracks. Go towards the mountain by following one of the trails and you will find the men who destroyed the place where drinking. Go near Rains Fall and investigate more clues, follow him, in the end, you will see smoke down the hill. Zoom in and you will see a camp.

Recover The Relic | Archeology for Beginners

Arthur will offer to help Rains Fall to recover the relic. For Gold you will have to do this quietly, that means without getting spotted. Follow the yellow circle, ride down the mountain towards the camp. On the mini-map, you will see the locations of the enemies. Crouch and walk quietly, and stealth knockout the guards. Another requirement for Gold is to get the relic within 1 minute and 30 seconds. The relic is on the floor behind the yellow chair at the fireplace. There will be a guard sitting on the chair, you can sneak from behind and collect the relic.

Return to Rains Fall and he will be happy with your help. This completes the mission. You can read our walkthrough on the next main mission The Bridge to Nowhere. You will have to meet John Marston under Bacchus Bridge.
