Can’t seem to track down that item you used to use? Wondering what is with this one gun? We got you covered.

Legendary Peacekeeper

The Peacekeeper has changed yet again. After being nerfed in Season 4, Season 5 has elevated it to legendary weapon status. If this gun was a staple of your strategy, get ready to rework, since legendary weapons are rare. The gun has 20 total ammo before it’s over and done with and the Precision Choke Hop-Up is now built into it. Before picking up this gun, be sure you know how to hit your mark.

Demoted Mastiff Shotgun

Every action is met with an equal and opposite reaction, so as the Peacekeeper becomes legendary, the Mastiff is now a regular tier weapon. It is a faster shotgun than the Peacekeeper, and with a level 3 shotgun bolt, the rate of fire becomes deadly. The Mastiff holds six ammo in a clip and is the only shotgun to not take a Hop-Up.

Anvil Receiver departs

Everyone low-key knew that the legendary Hop-Up from Season 4, Anvil Receiver, was overpowered. That said, we are still sad to see it go. In Season 5, Anvil Receiver has been removed entirely and neither the R-301 Carbine, nor the VK-47 Flatline take a Hop-Up anymore. However, this change makes using the Selectfire Receiver Hop-Up on the Prowler that much more powerful, as it can deal rapid-fire damage at a similar rate on auto mode.

Skullpiercer Rifling returns

If you started playing Apex Legends in Season 3 or later, you wouldn’t remember the Skullpiercer Hop-Up, as it was removed after Season 2 ended. But now? It’s back. The Skullpiercer is a legendary Hop-Up that can be attached to the Longbow DMR or the Wingman. It increases the headshot multiplier for the Wingman from 2x to 2.25x and on the Longbow from 2x to 2.5x. If you know how to hit your mark, get ready to do some serious damage.

Precision Choke for Triple Take only

Now that the Precision Choke is built into the legendary Peacekeeper, the Hop-Up is now only able to be equipped to the Triple Take, making it the only Hop-Up in the game that can only be attached to one weapon. Will another weapon become compatible? Will the Hop-Up become obsolete? It remains to be seen.
