Gwent has been a big hit with both strategic players and Witcher 3 fans since its debut in 2017. However, CD Projekt Red recently made an announcement regarding how updates will go in the future. To provide better support for mobile and PC versions of the game, the developer will discontinue support for console versions of Gwent, with its final update coming next week.

In its statement, the team noted, “Looking to the future, we do not believe we can support a growing number of different versions of Gwent while improving feature parity between them.”

That said, players won’t be completely left out in the cold. “All Gwent players on consoles will be offered an option to copy their account progress and purchases from their current platform to a GOG account, which is used by both PC and mobile versions of the game.”

Players can take advantage of this change on Dec. 9 with access to a web page where they can copy their progress from a console account to another platform. Howeer, merging is not an option. CD Projekt Red explained that “we will only be able to copy progress to existing GOG accounts that do not have any Gwent progression on them at the time the request is made.”

The console versions will continue to run June 9, 2020, at which point they’re likely to be taken offline entirely. In addition, real-money purchases are no longer available, starting today.

Players will be able to copy over the following progress, with one notable exception for PS4 owners:

  • All collected ornaments
  • Meteorite Powder — (only applies to Xbox One players)
  • All other currencies
  • Cards
  • Deck lists
  • Account level
  • Current Rank
  • Thronebreaker rewards
  • Contracts

CD Projekt Red notes that players on PS4 will need to spend their Meteorite Power before transferring account information.
