Take-Two president Karl Slatoff has shared an interesting comment about WWE 2K20 buggy launch, which has turned out to be hilarious because of all the glitches and technical issues, even very serious, that prompted users to ask for refunds.

Slatoff recognized that the publisher is very “disappointed” about the way the launch happened to be. If you consider that this was the first edition to be handled by Visual Concepts after Yuke’s left the helm of the franchise, the situation was overall even more hard to manage.

“While we are disappointed with the reviews and consumer feedback for WWE 2K20, last week Visual Concepts released a patch that should address many of the concerns, and they will continue to make further enhancements to the gameplay experience,” Slatoff said, via GameSpot.

“The WWE brand continues to expand worldwide. And we believe there remains a substantial long-term opportunity to grow our WWE 2K series by improving the quality of the game,” he added for what matters the future of the franchise and the post-launch support.

WWE 2K20 has a Metascore of 42/100 right now, and it is most likely harming the sales themselves, as it’s one of those games that – after a few not so excellent releases – you usually wait for a bit more after launch to see how it turned out to be. Well, it turned out to be very bad, it seems.
