BioWare’s Anthem has gone through its fair share of troubles over the past few months. It barely had any presence to speak of at EA’s Play event back in June, and the publisher recently noted that it would spend more time fixing the game, rather than providing important updates. Still, for what’s there, it’s not a terrible experience. And now fans can get it for a rather affordable price.

That’s because Amazon currently has all versions of the standard edition of Anthem available for just $9.99. That includes Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Note that these prices do not apply to the Legion of Dawn Edition of the game, which is currently selling for $19.99.

When it launched earlier this year, Anthem received a fair amount of praise for its open-world environment and various events to take part in. However, it also got its share of criticism for bugs and other issues within the game. BioWare has been hard at work on trying to fix these, but it seems to be coming across as just as problematic as the team’s last venture, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

As a result, Electronic Arts has seemingly moved on to promoting other projects, like its latest Battlefield V update, its massive sports line-up, and its upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which arrives next month. That may explain why Amazon has lowered the price so quickly down to rock-bottom ten dollars.

Again, for that price, it does have some quality to it, and, given you can get a good team together to fight alongside you, it can be fun for a few hours. But one has to wonder if the game can bounce back into the good graces of the BioWare elite. We shall see.
