Ori and the Blind Forest Nintendo Switch Review Impressions: “Runs Great”

Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch reviews are slowly coming in, in the wait for the full release of the game which is slated for September 27.
You’d expect the title to be a bit downtoned in comparison with the original Xbox One and PC release, as it is dropping on a way less powerful console, which is also portable, but it looks like no such thing has happened, thankfully.
A designer at Iron Galaxy Studios has shared some initial impressions about the game, and those are positive as it “runs great” on Nintendo Switch.
“I’ve been playing the full game for the last few hours thanks to MS. If anyone is worried about perf or anything like that, fear not. The game runs great on Switch,” the designer, who goes by the nickname Delriach on ResetEra, said.
“This is the first time in recent memory I’ve been able to just enjoy a game without being annoyed by hitches and bizarre framerate issues,” he added. “It’s a great ‘before bed’ kind of game due to the visuals and music. (…) Highly recommend Ori! It feels perfect on a portable.”
This is precisely what we wanted to hear and look forward to the game releasing on Nintendo Switch, before jumping on Ori and the Will of the Wisps early next year on Xbox One and PC.
