Animal Crossing: New Horizons And Pocket Camp Won’t Have Direct Connectivity

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the upcoming new entry to the series for Nintendo Switch, won’t have any direct connectivity with Pocket Camp, according to Nintendo’s Aya Kyogoku. During an interview with IGN at E3 2019, he was asked about the possibility of the two being able to connect in some way but said “we want to make sure to separate the gameplay because we feel they’re two different types of games. Though they won’t have any sort of direct connectivity, there are already collaboration items being planned for the two games”.
Pocket Camp is a mobile game that is available for iOS and Android and involves building a campsite for you and your friends to enjoy. You can fish, gather fruit, and collect bugs, as well as make your furniture and amenities. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players will travel to a deserted island to set up their new home and will be able to explore, make new animals friends, and do all kinds of interesting crafting and bug catching. As usual, you will be working to pay off your bills to that every present Tom Nook.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020. The game was expected to launch later this year, but Nintendo decided to delay it to ensure a better quality game, and to avoid any crunch for the development team.
