Amidst the arrival of Season 2 in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, a few new weapons have joined the mix, including the widely popular Fara 83 Assault Rifle, unlockable at Tier 15 of the Battle Pass.
The Fara 83 AR draws numerous similarities to the Galil AR, seen in the previous Call of Duty games. The fire rate of the Fara 83 is considerably high, while the recoil, minimal. Given this, the AR proves prevalent amongst Black Ops Cold War players, capable of mowing players down in a flash. This guide will cover the best attachments and loadouts for the new weapon. Our recommendations look to improve upon the gun’s definite characteristics of incredibly high firepower, speed, and precision.

To start, the Muzzle Brake 5.56, 18.1″ Takedown, Bruiser Grip, Speed Tape, and Wire Stock — when all utilized in conjunction with one another, showcase a massive boost towards the speed, accuracy, and firepower of the Fara 83. This combination is ideal for mowing enemies down at medium to long-range in a rapid, in-your-face fashion.
You can elect to change the Muzzle Brake with an Optic of your choice; the Axial Arms 3x is ideal for medium to long-range encounters. The Salvo 60 Rng Fast Mag (magazine) supplies players with enough Ammunition to get the job done, no matter the conditions.
Wire Stock and Speed Tape reduces sprint to fire time and increases aim down sight speed; ideal for aggressive pushes around the map. This allows you to lock onto enemies in the blink of an eye, letting your bullets fly before enemies have a chance to respond.
Tactical, Lethal, and Field Upgrade are more or less personal preferences. However, you can’t go wrong with Sentex and Gas Mine. Our recommended Perks reward kill streaks and provide resistance to lethal and tactical equipment, which pairs nicely with the entirety of the loadout.
