League of Legends: Wild Rift has received an overwhelming response — and not only from the open beta regions. Players worldwide are playing the game using VPNs, and as a result, many players faced bugs and issues during game sessions.

In order to ensure the best in-game experience for all players, Riot Games has decided to block some players from accessing the game using VPN. At the same time, most players will not notice any change. The use of VPNs across regions caused inconveniences like language barriers, login problems, and lag issues.

According to Riot Games, the best way to overcome this issue is to cut VPN access from a few of the highest volume VPN services, and the changes will be made effective immediately. However, players will still be able to login to their own region using a VPN. If they face any problems, they can contact the customer support for League of Legends: Wild Rift. The list of VPNs blocked might be extended after complete evaluation.
