The McCrispy Lobby at PAX: The Next Big Thing on Gaming’s Biggest Stage

PAX Aus 2023 was once again packed to the rafters with buzzing fans, new releases, and surprising moments. One huge surprise debut turned out to be one of the stars of the show with McDonald’s linking up with esports juggernauts Team PWR to celebrate the launch of Macca’s “next big thing”—the New McCrispy.

All weekend long, the Macca’s Lobby gave fans the chance to kick back and hang out with their favorite PWR streamers, including Overstrand, Chanzes, Timmy, Sync, Alex, Worthy and Jynx.

While hanging out, eager gaming fans were given the opportunity to challenge the PWR Team in a variety of one-vs-one matches, taking home prizes like Macca’s bucket hats, tote bags, and even Team PWR Jerseys.

Fans flocked from everywhere to try and win themselves a Macca’s x PWR bucket hat, which were a hot commodity across the three-day event. The best players were rewarded with a signed PWR jersey, with those fans proudly displaying their prize as a mark of their achievement. Even Lachlan himself couldn’t miss the action, popping into the lobby to a huge reception from fans.

The Macca’s Lobby was the place to be at lunch on each of the days with Macca’s and Team PWR shouting McCrispy’s for a bunch of hungry gaming fans!
