New Locust Plague Halloween event brings swarms of horror to Puzzles & Survival

Halloween is here, and Puzzles & Survival is taking full advantage of the spooky season to add even more content to a game that already features city and alliance building, survival elements, puzzles, and zombies — what a thematic match. 

The Locust Plague event is bringing swarms of mutant locusts into the game, forcing players to deal with an apocalyptic challenge and save the Earth from a new, dangerous threat. 

Together with their allies, players will need to use every survival skill in their arsenal to defend their sanctuary and resources from the swarms of insects. And, once the defense is done, rally together against their bosses to exterminate the threat once and for all.

Players will combat the locust threat using Puzzle & Survival’s turn-based, match-three gameplay, where they chain together tiles in order to defeat targeted enemies. And, using different heroes from the diverse roster will let you change your strategy to fit the opponent you are facing or your own preferred playstyle. 

Successfully matching tiles will let you charge your selected hero’s skill gauge, which will let you unleash devastating abilities such as massive damage, stat buffs for your allies, stat debuffs for your enemies, and much more. 

Resources gained from successfully cleared puzzles will let players upgrade their heroes to better face stronger threats. These upgrades will also fortify your sanctuary and strengthen active alliances.
