Again, a bad news for those among you waiting for the Uncharted Movie which has been around since 2009.

The movie has indeed lost yet another director, the third since the beginning of the preliminary work on the project has begun.

Shawn Levy, of Stranger Things fame, has stepped away from the movie as the video-game action-comedy Free Guy has been green lit at 20th Century Fox.

The news is quite disappointing because it looked like the movie, produced by Sony, was seeing the traditional light at the end of the tunnel now.

Anyway, a few things remain certain about the project. We knew it had a script secured, and that MCU’s Spider-Man Tom Holland is starring as a young Nathan Drake.

Rumor’s around that Sully’s role should be interpreted by Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, but this has not been confirmed yet.

Priority at the moment is to attach the project with a brand new director who’ll be able to bring the movie in a decent time at cinemas. Who should be hired for the job?
