Obsidian has finally revealed their brand new game called “The Outer Worlds” at The Game Awards 2018. You can watch the announcement trailer of The Outer Worlds below. The game looks amazing, and we get a feel that it is BioShock-esque retro-futuristic RPG or Fallout RPG set in space. Players objective in The Outer Worlds is going to be getting their world back from the corporations.

Obsidian Reveals The Outer Worlds At The Game Awards

This is how Obsidian describes The Outer Worlds and what players are going to be doing, “In The Outer Worlds, you awake from hibernation on a colonist ship that was lost in transit to Halcyon, the furthest colony from Earth located at the edge of the galaxy, only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy it. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.”

There is no release date yet for The Outer Worlds, but we have received a confirmation from the developer that the game is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
