Back in 2017 we all got a surprise at E3 with the announcement that Beyond Good and Evil 2 was actually going to be a thing. Many of us had dreamed that it would happen, but sometimes dreams can be a dangerous thing. Not this time, however!
Beyond Good and Evil is a cult classic that actually deserves that status. The original came out 15 years ago and spanned a generation. It originally appeared on the Playstation 2 and the Xbox, eventually moving over the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. An action-adventure game, it possessed some puzzle elements, and stealth, in that fun mishmash of gameplay that was all the rage at the time.
Jade, the first game’s main protagonist, will be returning for further adventures. It should be noted though, this is a prequel, not a sequel. This game is sure to make a lot of people very happy, and should introduce the incredible world of Beyond Good and Evil to a whole new generation of gamers.
