As we reported a few hours ago, State of Play will get a second episode as soon as May 9, 2019, and this episode looks like it’s going to be very meaty.

Despite it being only ten-minute-long, as rumored over the Internet, it’ll be getting several announcements that will appeal PlayStation fans.

First of all, we know for sure, as Sony shared it, that the broadcast will discuss MediEvil and that’ll probably come along a release date for the title, which is expected to drop in 2019.

On top of that, we also know that the company will reveal a new PlayStation 4 game from Worldwide Studios that has never been shown before.

Now, let’s get to the rumors.

According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, the new episode “will be better than the last for sure,” since it’ll be shorter but will have more exciting announcements.

As Ahmad revealed, there will be time for a “re-reveal of a third party game that was announced long ago,” even though he didn’t want to share more details on it.

That description fits rather well on several games, like Final Fantasy VII Remake, which we expect to be at E3 2019 anyway, and a few others.

Nioh 2 is also waiting for a proper reveal after the E3 2018 announcement, even though the original presentation has only happened one year ago so we don’t know whether this is long enough, while WiLD is a second party game funded by Sony so it should be out of the question.

Could it be Deep Down? Well, a game like that could deserve a re-reveal at a major event, even though Sony won’t be at E3 this year so the State of Play could serve well the purpose.

Of course, we’ll update on that as soon as it happens, so stay tuned for more news.
