Sea of Thieves has gone through many bugs at launch. Another just appeared that leads to missing gold and reputation in the game after finishing a quest. If you are among those who are facing the problem, the game developer has suggested a simple fix to get the lost gold and reputation back.
After finishing a quest in Sea of Thieves if you are unable to see your earned gold and reputation then the Developer suggest to quiet the game first and then go once again for match-making. This will restore the items back. The earned gold and reputations are not lost, they are just delayed, so you don’t have to worry about losing it.
The bug was noticed if you had completed the quest for factions like Gold Hoarder, Order of Souls or Merchant Alliance. A similar issue has also been noticed where players have reported that they are unable to see items or clothing at the start of the game. The way to fix this similar to above, you require to quiet and restart the game.
Restarting the game could a temporary solution for the time-being till Developer ‘Rare’ works on a patch that resolves these minor bugs. A few other major issues players have faced is the error codes like CinnamonBeard, BronzeBeard and GreyBeared.
