Pokemon Sword And Shield Will Be Playable At E3 2019

Nintendo is bringing a whole host of game’s to this years E3 show floor, and looking attendees will be able to play them. Pokemon Sword and Shield will be there and will be joined by Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Fans will hear details about upcoming games for Nintendo Switch during the Tuesday-evening Nintendo Direct presentation, with continued information during the week on Nintendo Treehouse: Live, with a focus on indie games on Thursday 13th June.

Nintendo has lots of plans for this years E3. They will be running multiple game tournaments for Nintendo Switch games on Saturday, June 8. The action starts at 20.00 CEST with the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019, in which four members of the Super Mario Maker community will compete in a variety of Super Mario Maker 2 courses. Next, fans can enjoy the action of the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 – featuring European champions Alliance Rogue – and the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 tournament, where the German squad of Light, RobinGG, Sirjon, and back-up player Thunda will be competing as Team Europe. The competitions will be live-streamed in English via Nintendo of Europe’s E3 2019 website.

The Nintendo Direct presentation is planned to begin at 18:00 CEST on Tuesday, June 11, with a heavy focus on software, and will give us a look at planned games for 2019. Viewers will be able to watch the stream in their local language via the Nintendo website. Directly following the Direct, the Treehouse team will take over.

For the first time ever, Nintendo is dedicating Nintendo Treehouse: Live programming on Thursday, June 13 to focus on indie games. People can view every day of the livestream in English at Nintendo of Europe’s E3 2019 website. The Nintendo eShop will also be offering discounts on select Switch and 3DS games throughout E3. The sale starts at 19.00 CEST on June 11 and runs until 23.59 (local time) on June 18. The full list of discounted games will be announced next week.
