Pokémon HOME, the new Pokémon Bank for Switch, is releasing in 2020

Pokémon HOME is a new cloud-based storage system that will link previous Pokémon game titles together and allow players to store their Pokémon and transfer them between games.
It will be replacing the old Pokémon Bank that was used previously and is set to release in early 2020.
Now that the world of Pokémon games is branching over to the Nintendo Switch with Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! releasing last year and Pokémon Sword and Shield coming out later this year, fans will now have one easy place to store all of their Pokémon. Pokémon HOME will allow trainers to bring over their Pokémon from Pokémon Bank on Nintendo 3DS, from Pokémon GO, and titles on the Switch.
The cloud service not only allows players to store Pokémon but also lets players trade with friends around the world straight from the Pokémon HOME app. Meaning instead of needing to transfer a Pokémon from storage to one of the games, players can just select which ones to trade from there.
Pokémon HOME is expected to launch in early 2020 for iOS and Android devices as well as Switch.
