Are you hungry for more adventures with your Nintendo Switch? Check out the Kickstarter-funded experience, Pillars of Eternity, from Obsidian Entertainment, the creative minds behind the original Fallout games and the upcoming title, The Outer Worlds. The game comes to the Switch this year on Aug. 8.

Here’s the official tweet from the Pillars of Eternity Twitter page featuring the announcement.

It originally released on March 26, 2015, for the PC where it gained a substantial following, prompting a sequel, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.

Pillars of Eternity is an RPG adventure that takes place in the world of Eora. The primary setting mostly focuses on the adventurers wandering around in Dyrwood, along with its surrounding inhabitants. The main protagonist discovers they’re one of the rare beings known as the Watchers. These beings can see the past lives of other people around them and interact with souls who have already passed. The protagonist meets many colorful characters along the way, hellbent on correcting the wrongs of the land.

Pillars of Eternity comes to the Nintendo Switch on Aug. 8, but so does the game’s sequel, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. Those who want to play both should make sure to pre-order the first game, and then fire up the next one and transfer their main character to their new adventure.

Those who pre-order the game are going to receive the base title, along with game’s White March expansions. You get everything for a total of $39.99.
