Nintendo Switch Sold Three Times Faster Than PS4 After Initial Launch

Nintendo Switch turned out to be the fastest-selling console after it was launched last year in March. The success journey didn’t stop here, the console is taking a good pace against another console in some regions. According to sources, Nintendo Switch is selling three times faster than PS4 in Japan. Last year also Nintendo Switch was also on top list competing with popular consoles.
As per the figures we got from the source link, 920,000 units of PS4 was sold between Feb 22 to Dec 31, 2014. While Switch was sold around 3.4 million units between March to December 2017. This simply indicates that Nintendo Switch sold 3 times faster than PS4 in the first forty weeks.
This a short analysis to understand Switch’s success but this does not indicate that Switch has completely overtaken other consoles sales or prediction that it will do so. One of the biggest factors in boost console sales is its exclusive games which are unique, extensive and fun. More and more players want to add Switch in their list in-order to enjoy those fresh titles which are not available on any other platform.
Games like Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Breath of Wild, etc are an instant hit and achieved a milestone in sales figure. At the end of the year 2017, Nintendo has announced that they had sold over 10 million units world-wide, they are able to achieve their sales target in the first 9 months of product launch.
