Nintendo has just filed a patent about something called Nintendo Switch Do, as reported by Nintendo Life. At this time, the copyright could be anything.

Nintendo announced a Lite version of the hybrid console, which confirmed the original rumor that said it had a Pro model in the making alongside a less expensive console.

While the Nintendo Switch Do could be anything, there’s a slight chance it could get linked to the Nintendo Switch Pro which we’ve heard so much.

Trademark number 318447 was applied for on 8th July 2019 and granted on 16th July in Israel, for some reason, and covers a lot of stuff like Class 9 and 28.

Class 9 features “Electronic game programs; Downloadable electronic game programs; Video game programs; Downloadable video game programs; Video game cartridges; Programs for consumer video game apparatus,” etc.

Class 28 is more in the line of accessories. They feature “Games; Toys; Portable games with liquid crystal displays; Protective films adapted for screens for portable games; Protective carrying cases specially adapted for handheld video games,” etc.

Whatever Nintendo is planning to do next with its console there’s more on the way. That ‘more’ could mean another higher specced Switch or some smaller update which could improve the quality of life on the platform.
