This new Faming Simulator 19 trailer from Gamescom shows off ridable horses and many of the game’s large stable of machines.
Next up in the ongoing barrage of new trailers being shown at Gamescom 2018 in Cologne, Germany, is Giants Software’s Farming Simulator 19. The new trailer shows a brand new feature in the series: ridable horses.
The Farming Simulator series has always had a vast list of officially licensed machinery available for players, including the recently added John Deere lineup. Adding horses as a mode of transportation should allow wanna-be farmers the opportunity to survey their land using a more traditional method of getting around their farm. It’ll remain to be seen if these horses are merely for fun or if they serve a more important purpose in Farming Simulator 19, such as giving farmers the ability to breed and sell them.
Gamescom attendees can have a look at Farming Simulator 19 in the form of a preview version at the Focus Home Interactive booth. Seeing how successful sim games are in Germany, I would expect long lineups for this hands-on experience.
Farming Simulator 19 promises to be the most complete farming experience ever as the game now brings over 300 authentic vehicles and machines from all the leading brands, including Case IH, New Holland, Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Krone, Deutz-Fahr, and many more. Farming Simulator 19 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac on November 20.
