According to a report from The Wrap, Netflix Castlevania’s producer Adi Shankar is about to announce a The Legend of Zelda TV show.

Shankar said on his Instagram account that he’s working on an “iconic Japanese gaming company” intellectual property.

Interestingly, he’s already said that he will be making this announcement on November 16, 2018, which means we’ll know everything in a couple weeks.

“I can confirm that I’m working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series,” he said.

“On Nov 16 @ 1pm I’m going to announce what it is. I love you all. Thank you for following me on this journey. Entertaining you guys continues to be a privilege.”

In the past, together with Castlevania, Shankar also pitched a TV movie based on the Assassin’s Creed video game franchise.

As reported by ComicBook, Nintendo commented that “we have nothing to announce on this topic,” so we’ll need to wait and see if the producer confirms Zelda is really the IP we’re hunting down for the series.
