Mortal Kombat 11 will be releasing on the Nintendo eShop on April 23rd but will not be getting a Physical release until May 10 in the U.K., a member of Warner Bros. U.K. has told Gamepur.

The gaming press had long speculated a delay to the game’s release since the start of the year when initial rumors and speculations were bought up by NintendoSoup, claiming that major retailers had pushed Mortal Kombat’s release date back.

While this is somewhat true, players will still be able to get the game at the same time as other platforms so long as they are getting Mortal Kombat 11 digitally. We have reached out to Warner Bros. to see if this release schedule is just for the UK. or other territories as well, but we have not received word yet.

The digital version of Mortal Kombat 11 on the U.K. Switch eShop is currently not available to pre-purchase at the time of writing either, so we have no idea what price options and bundles will be available to players though it is likely that the standard game will cost the usual £49.99/$59.99 price tag.

We will update this article once we learn more information.
