Capcom’s recent Monster Hunter World expansion has only been out for a week, and it’s already becoming a huge hit with the fans.

The publisher announced on its website that the Iceborne add-on, which came out digitally for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 last week, is already selling tremendously. The game has shipped over 2.5 million units worldwide. These numbers include digital sales of the Xbox One version and both physical and digital copies on PlayStation 4.

These details add to Monster Hunter World’s already massive success, having sold over 13.1 million copies worldwide – the highest-selling title in the history of the franchise. As a result, cumulative sales have already gone past 58 million units as of today.

With more content getting added to the game (including returning favorites like Rajang, who is featured below), Iceborne should continue to build up sales with ease. The real question here …how far can it go?

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The expansion will also come to PC sometime in January 2020, though the original World game is available for download now.
