With six million units shipped in just two weeks, Monster Hunter: World has become the fastest selling game in Capcom’s long history.

Capcom confirmed the sales numbers that have taken place on just the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in a post on its site. The PC version of the game won’t release until the fall, so the sales will likely increase even more at that point.

Monster Hunter: World was the top game on PlayStation 4 in January, and it currently sits at the top of the paid game category on Xbox One as well, higher than even PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

It’s a triumphant return to consoles for the series, which spent the past few years in spin-offs on the Nintendo 3DS. Now, it seems like gamers everywhere can’t get enough of the hunt.

To put it in a bit of perspective, Monster Hunter: World has sold faster than any game in Capcom’s library, including games in the Resident Evil and Street Fighter series, both of which have received the Hollywood movie treatment multiple times.

Capcom plans to continue to support the game with free updates throughout the year, including new monsters, which will most likely come with new weapons and armor sets, too.
