Continuing its tradition of adding some of the oddest and most obscure characters to its hit brawler, Nintendo announced today that it will soon unleash Minecraft default character, Steve, on the world of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. During an October 1 livestream, the console creator also revealed Alex, Enderman, and Zombie as alternative skins for Steve, with a new stage and seven additional songs dropping alongside the character.

Steve becomes the second character packaged in the game’s Fighter Pass Vol. 2, with Arms’ Min Min leading the charge back in June. The package of DLC still has four characters to be revealed, all of which Nintendo has said will be playable by the end of 2021.

In a new trailer, Steve is shown attacking with a variety of weapons, such as a sword, pickaxe, and hook. The most impressive, though, appears to be his ability to craft stronger, bigger blades.

Fans can catch a second look at all of his upcoming moves during an October 3 livestream hosted by Ultimate producer Masahiro Sakurai, who will also reveal the release date for Steve during the stream.
