Marvel’s Avengers gameplay footage showed up at E3 2019. We got the chance to see a gameplay trailer at Square Enix’s media briefing. On the show floor at E3 people got the opportunity to watch the game in action while developers from Crystal Dynamics were playing it.

At San Diego Comic-Con, on July 18 (at 1.30pm local time) participants get to see and learn something more about the title as the developers host a panel entirely dedicated to the event. There’s going to be more gameplay for the occasion, too.

Unfortunately, there’s no chance that the gameplay will reach the internet as the event won’t have a live stream from San Diego. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are still being somewhat cautious about the things they post for the public on the game itself.

The panel’s host is the game’s creative director Shaun Escayg and features the “the first public gameplay reveal” of Marvel’s Avengers. It also features the entire cast talking about how it felt to play the iconic Avengers and the team providing some more gameplay intel.

There’s still plenty to learn about the game. It’s been shown as a single-player action-adventure in the vibe of Uncharted but is said to have a cooperative mode, which players will be able to play in the side content. The developers have not shown off this gameplay too much, yet.

Marvel’s Avengers releases May 20, 2020. Hopefully, by then we’ll have a clearer idea of the overall gameplay. We’ll report more as information comes from the panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
