Kingdom Come Deliverance has released as one of the most realistic yet flawed role playing games ever, and while it has managed to sell quite a good amount of copies overall, it looks like it’s already being abandoned by its core base.

New interesting player numbers have been gathered by GitHyp, revealing that the PC Steam user base is now 95% down on a daily basis in comparison with the launch. While a fall is something you’d expect after day one for a single-player title, that could be way bigger than anticipated.

Kingdom Come Deliverance Steam Daily User Base Drops 95%

Looking at the proper numbers offered by GitHyp, it looks like concurrent players are now on average around 3,600, while they used to be almost 66,400. On launch they were 96,000, beating a behemoth such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which peaked at 92,000 back in 2015.

Again, this is usually the norm for single-player video games, especially on PC, but it comes together with a dangerous change in the reviews lately. Players are a bit skeptic now at the will and capability of the development team at Warhorse to launch meaningful content update and, most importantly, patches that could fix the major issues they have encountered thus far.

If things don’t change fast, it looks like the player count can only get lower. Are you still playing Kingdom Come Deliverance?
