For most players, the Guilty Gear Strive open beta test has been plagued by many server issues and errors. The “Failed to upload R-code” error message is the most common, caused by a connection problem due to servers being unable to accept requests.

In response to these ongoing issues, ArcSystemWorks has decided to extend the beta by two more days, from the original end date of February 21 to February 23 at 6:59 AM PT:

In a follow-up tweet, they also clarified that “The Open Beta Test schedule is subject to change by the server situation” and apologized for the inconveniences so far. However, as stated in the first tweet, players must have downloaded the beta test game data by 6:59 AM PT earlier today, or they won’t have access to the open beta for its remaining time.

Guilty Gear Strive will release on April 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game is also set to release for arcades sometime in the spring.
