After weeks of leaks and speculation, Nintendo finally made it official today—Fortnite is coming to the Nintendo Switch, and it’s available to download today starting at 12pm CT.

The video for the new edition of the game showed players gathering around Switch screens with JoyCons, playing at home on TV with a pro controller, and bringing the game with them on the go with the portability of the console.

The inclusion of Fortnite on a Nintendo platform now opens up the door for potential exclusive skins. The company has a huge stable of characters from throughout gaming history, like Mario, Yoshi, and Luigi.

As for right now, the main news from Nintendo is that the game is available to play on Switch. More news about the game on the new platform could come over the next few days while E3 wears on.

With the Switch announcement, Fortnite is now available on five different platforms—Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and iOS—with an Android version in the works for this summer. The world’s biggest game just keeps getting bigger.
