The consistent and free updates continue for Fortnite: Battle Royale, as a new, powerful weapon is coming to the game with tomorrow’s patch.

The minigun will make its appearance in Update 2.4 on Feb. 1, and it looks like it will wreak havoc on the battlefield with some seriously heavy firepower.

It sure seems like the minigun will be able to fire a massive amount of bullets, as it should. It’s unclear what type of ammo the new weapon will take, but it seems like it’s going to be really strong for tearing down forts and pressuring enemies out of cover.

The minigun is a vast departure from two other guns that have been added to the game for free post-launch, the suppressed pistol and suppressed SMG. Speaking of the pistol, this update also reduces the drop chasnces of the Rare variant by 20 percent, and the Legendary variant by 33 percent.

The update also includes a number of small bug fixes and UI improvements, like adding a spectator counter to the bottom left while spectating. It should go live in the early hours of tomorrow, Feb. 1.
