Far Cry 5 has only been out for a week, and the game is already the series’ fastest selling title to date, according to an official announcement from Ubisoft.

Compared to Far Cry 4, the series’ latest title “more than doubled” its first week sell-through. Not just that, but over 50 percent of the game’s sales were from digital distribution, and $310 million was spent on the game by the end of the first week.

“I’m proud that the culmination of years of passionate work from the team is paying off, and that Far Cry 5’s experience resonates with so many people,” game director Dan Hay said in the Ubisoft post. “We are humbled by players’ reception of Far Cry 5 and fired up to keep growing and supporting the Far Cry community in the months and years to come.”

Meanwhile, the sales announcement comes with some statistics about players’ time spent in-game during Far Cry 5’s first week. Over 8,000 skunks have been ambushed by players, Ubisoft reveals, and players have thrown 35.14 million dynamite sticks throughout Hope County. Nick Rye remains the most popular Gun for Hire among players, and Boomer is the most popular animal to bring along during the game.

The game statistics also reveal that 98 fake brands were developed for Far Cry 5’s world, 52 animal species are in the game, and over 70 hours’ worth of dialogue was recorded for the game’s release. Check out more of the statistics below.

Ubisoft confirmed in the post that Far Cry 5 is the company’s “second biggest launch ever,” following behind Tom Clancy’s The Division. In comparison, The Division brought in $330 million within its first five days, meaning there’s a relatively tight gap between the two titles. Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced a sequel to The Division is in the works, suggesting the game publisher is eager to bank off its previous success.

Far Cry 5 is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For players interested in giving the game a shot, head on over to The OP’s beginner’s guide before taking a trip to Hope County, Montana.
