The Crown of Sorrow trailer for Destiny 2 shows off a brief glimpse at the latest raid headed to the game alongside the new season, Season of Opulence, which kicks off tomorrow, June 4, at 7 AM PST, 10 AM EST.

The trailer is only 40 seconds long, but it breaks down some critical details about the upcoming raid. You can check it out at the bottom of the page.

We learn that players are going back to the Leviathan, which was the location for Destiny 2’s first raid when the game initially released. However, there are some massive changes. For one, the golden, beautiful structure of the vessel appears almost sickly, shattered by some form of illness. As the trailer progresses, it highlights an old adversary to the Guardians, the Hive.

The Hive were enemies that Destiny players should know quite well as the primary opponents to the Guardians during raids in the first game.

The trailer also briefly details new raid items, such as weapons and armor that reflect the now infected vessel. There’s nothing pretty about these original pieces, as they’re meant to stand out as a growing disease, much like the Leviathan’s new structure coating.

When you get to the end of the trailer you’re going to see a link to Destiny 2’s Twitch page. Bungie is planning to live stream players taking on the raid for the first time as high-level players from all over the world prepare to take it on and see who can make it to the finish last before others. Make sure to tune in tomorrow when the raid opens up to see who claims the title as having completed the Crown of Sorrow raid.
