You’ll Be Able To Play Death Stranding Like A Movie

Death Stranding is going to be…well…nobody’s quite sure what it’s going to be yet, and that includes its creator Hideo Kojima. Ever since the first trailer appeared at E3 back in 2016, yes it has been that long, with a naked Norman Reedus, a baby, and some black ooze, people have been speculating just what the game is.

As more and more images and videos have been released, nobody is any the wiser which is either it is a work of marketing genius on behalf of Kojima and his studio, or it means that the whole thing is just going to be a jumbled mess that makes zero sense. But whatever it turns out to be then there is some good news for those of you who want to see how it pans out.

Death Stranding

Over on his official Twitter account, Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Death Stranding will have a Very Easy Mode for people who want to experience the game as a big-budget film.

This means that people will be able to get through Death Stranding as quickly as possible and in doing so enjoy the whole game as a movie experience, even though at nearly $60 a pop you’d probably expect a little more bang for your buck.

There is no need to worry though, as Normal Mode and Hard Mode will be aimed at those of us that like life to be a little more challenging but if you don’t have the time or patience to put into Death Stranding, then Hideo Kojima has got you covered.

Rumors that Norman Reedus will be forced to play through the entire thing wearing a chicken hat if you choose Very Easy Mode have yet to be confirmed, but this writer certainly hopes so.
