One of the greatest moments in arcade racing history was the birth of the Burnout series, specifically when Burnout 3: Takedown came onto the scene. There hasn’t been a new Burnout, however, since the release of Burnout Paradise ten years ago in 2008.

Now, ten years later, Burnout Paradise is making an appearance on PlayStation 4 as Burnout Paradise Remastered. It’s targeting a March release and will bring the Burnout action you know and remember in glorious 4K at 60fps, at least on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Burnout Paradise Remastered will bring the same destructive racing action you loved from the original (or found less inspiring compared to Burnout 3)to PS4, with lots of extras for this release.

You’ll get the base game, Big Surf Island, the Party Pack, Burnout Bikes, Boost Special, Legendary Cars, the Cagney Update, Toys, and the Cops & Robbers Pack so you have plenty to explore while cruising around in Paradise City.

Burnout Paradise takes the same takedowns and crashes from the prior games in the Burnout series and combines them with open-world driving so there’s stunts and races you can drive all around Paradise City to discover. You can go online to complete challenges as well, with your friends and others around the world.

If you missed out on Burnout Paradise when it first released, it’s definitely worth going back and revisiting, especially if you’re a fan of arcade-style racing.
