New Gameplay Trailer of Baldo, a Zelda-like Fantasy Game

A new gameplay trailer for Baldo arrived today from IGN. The video follows the two unnamed heroes and their faithful canine companion as they explore the beautifully rendered cel-shaded world.

Unfortunately, there’s extremely little information beyond the current gameplay trailer. The game is being developed by Naps Team who are planning to bring the action-adventure title to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the PC.

The trailer shows off some of the puzzles players are going to overcome, such as turning wheels to open doors, avoiding massive creatures, and using stealth to sneak through areas. There’s more combat near the end of the trailer where the main character is seen fighting a Werewolf with a spear and uses a fan-like ability to knock a larger opponent away.

There was not too much combat in the game, and it looked like the characters attempted to use stealth to avoid several situations. While Zelda may have inspired the game, the Naps Team are likely going to take their title in a different direction.

As of right now, there’s no official release date for Baldo. We may expect to hear more about the game when E3 arrives in June.
