Since its release, Apex Legends has been highly requested for Nintendo Switch.

The game, a battle royale title set in the Titanfall universe, is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and is going through its first season “Wild Frontier.”

As the title gets more and more popular, requests for one more version have become increasingly popular, but it looks like that version is not in the making now.

“If Switch was coming, we would tell you, and we would blast it across the world,” said project lead Drew McCoy.

“We are hearing all the Switch players who say they want the game. I can’t make any promises right now.

We have a lot of things that we’re working on, so stay tuned for anything in the future. But currently we don’t have anything to announce.”

Fortnite has dropped on Nintendo Switch relatively quick, although it’s worth noting that its cel-shaded graphics are lighter to handle than Apex Legends’.

So, there could be a technical issue in porting the game over a less powerful console, but that doesn’t mean that, in case it still proves to be so successful, the project could not be greenlit at some point.
