Josef Fares, the developer behind upcoming Co-op game, A Way Out, has announced that the game has achieved a major milestone of going GOLD i.e. all development work on the game is complete and the Master Disc carrying the final code is on the way to the factory for replication and distribution. This is an amazing feat considering the fact that A Way Out is officially scheduled to launch worldwide on March 23, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Speaking to all the A Way Out fans on Twitter, Josef Fares said: “I can’t even describe my excitement”

A Way Out Gone Gold

Josef Fares and other members of the development team at Hazelight were very clear from the Day 1 that A Way Out is not going to follow the route of traditional drop-in and drop-out co-op mode. They wanted to create a co-op game that is unique and different, and so decided to design the game in such a way that has to be played in a co-op mode with another player – either online or local split-screen co-op, there is no single-player mode in A Way Out.

Does this mean, if I want to play A Way Out with your friend – both of us need to own a copy of the game? No, you will only buy one copy of A Way Out. However, few things that are mandatory: Constant Internet Connection, EA Account, both friends should be on the same platform, and PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription.
